Design Atelier Antiques are antique collectible and antique furniture dealers located in Los Angeles, California. On our antiques shop you'll find carefully chosen antique classics from all over the world and through many time periods.
Design Atelier Antiques purchase our 18th and 19th century tables, chairs and commodes directly from Italy, France and England. We pride ourselves on choosing unusual, unique and well-made antique furniture in fine woods and other elegant materials. We are happy to provide the history of any of our antique pieces and love to talk about our beloved antique collectibles.
All of our antique chairs, antique sofas and antique beds are upholstered in down and fine silks, and we have carefully chosen colors that can blend into most environments.
We also have a considerable collection of antique chandeliers and sconces, which are bronze, iron or wood, and are also all primarily from France or Italy.
Our antiques shop has vast collection of bronze antique accessories that are primarily from France, however, we also have some unusual antique Chinese bronze accessories. This, coupled with a fine selection of 19th century paintings, (all in beautiful original frames), makes our antique furniture store is really worth perusing for any amount of time.
Our antiques shop has a large outdoor area which allows our antiques store to carry antique outdoor furniture, fountains and statuary. Our Antique Store History
Design Atelier Antiques was first established in 1987 as a design firm called simply, Design Atelier. Maureen and Rod have designed many classic interiors and timeless homes with careful consideration for every detail, including mostly antique furnishings. Design Atelier Antiques has been responsible for much of the antique furniture and classic paintings that have been a part of our overall interior designs. Our extensive antique collection began when we went on buying trips to Europe for our clients. Our love of fine antiques has led us to expand our services to our online antiques store. Design Antelier Antiques is now selling antiques directly to the public, although our primary clients have been decorators and other antiques dealers. If you're in the film and commercial world, we also rent our fine antiques out for all productions
